This large bearing area makes them perfect for hanging cabinets, or fastening down thin materials. When using slotted holes to provide for wood movement, the large flat under the head will let the screw snug up while still allowing for desired slippage.
Combo Drive allows you to use a Phillips (we are not sure why you would) or a Robertson Square Drive. Check the color code in the upper right to get the correct clor coded driver bit.
