Attach plywood and OSB panels to steel studs
There is a Stainless Steel screw that is ideal attaching plywood or OSB panels to steel studs. The machine-screw thread is fully threaded. When the wings hit the metal decking, they fold right up. The Wafer head allow the screw to sit flat. These have a #3 self drilling point which when used with light gauge steel is designed for a total metal thickness of .110" to .210". Head diameter 0.45 The 410 stainless steel is hardened through heat treatment, giving it the ability to drill through metal. It does not offer the same level of corrosion resistance of either Type 316 or 305 stainless steel
