Designed to attach to masonry or concrete. Great for light-duty applications such as installing electrical boxes or shelving brackets.

The Hammer-Set Anchor is a mechanical drive anchor consisting of a zinc die-cast expansion body and a zinc-plated steel expander drive pin.

  • Fast, easy installation
  • Works in concrete, block, and brick
  • Install through material to be fastened
  • Low profile mushroom head style
  • For use in electric boxes, conduit clips, drywall track, and roof flashing
  • Not for use in overhead applications

FEATURES:

  • Zinc plated steel pin
  • Typical Pull Out Strength in cured concrete = 400 lbs. for the 3/16 in. pins and 800 lbs. for the 1/4 in. pins.

INSTALLATION:

  • Predrill hole the same diameter as the anchor with carbide tipped masonry drill bit.
  • Hole must be 1/2 in. deeper than the anchor's embedment
  • Drive-in pin with anchor installed firmly in concrete.
  • Do not strike the pin until the anchor is completely seated.

TIP: a deep socket can be used to tap the anchor body into the concrete without striking the pin.

Age and condition of the wall may affect performance.
