The adapter converts a standard power drill or impact driver into a high-speed socket wrench, enabling fast tightening and loosening of nuts and bolts. When you need to put some torque on a screw, or you need to work in tight quarters, these can be a lifesaver. Just pop the adapter onto your 1/4 inch drive ratchet and slip in a hex insert bit. (Do not use ball detent bits in this. They will be stuck forever - believe me!) Now you can choose either magnetic or non-magnetic!
