Hanger Bolts are headless and have wood threads at one end and machine screw threads at the other end. The wood screw end is designed to screw into wood or other soft substrate materials. It is best to predrill for the lag-type wood screw end to prevent splitting and make driving easier. They work well for suspending sheet metal or electrical wiring from a wooden structure, as well as connecting table legs to the apron using a corner bracket.
