Peel, apply, burnish, trim – you’re done! This great pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed edge banding is fast, easy and eliminates the mess associated with unglued and hot-melt backed banding. Simply cut the band to approximate length, peel the backing and stick it in place. Burnish the banding to ensure a good bond, then trim it to size using a router, knife or the FastEdge Trimmer. FastEdge banding uses an acrylic adhesive that increases bond strength as it cures (maximum strength is reached in seven days!). It is totally waterproof and withstands temperatures of −30ºF to 250ºF. Thickness with adhesive is .023"; without adhesive is .018". Unfinished wood veneers may be stained and finished to match the rest of the workpiece.
