Cabinet Assembly Screws

Confirmat screws were developed specifically for edge-to-face joining of particle-based products like melamine board. They have deep threads on an oversize shank, a clearance-hole diameter shoulder beneath the head, and a head that is just slightly larger than the shoulder. Installation requires a special three-step drill bit, but the result is a tight, strong joint.

If assembly speed and cost are important, use an extra-long cabinet screw, such as our FSL or ProMax® series screws. Predrill when working close to the edge (even when using auger point screws), since man-made materials are prone to crumbling. Note that it is best to consider this a permanent clamp while an adhesive is curing, rather than a primary fastener.
