Dry Film Lubricant

Dry lube is a light oil finish that is applied during the heat treatment process. While the Screws are still warm from the heat treat tempering furnace, they dip spin the screws into the dry lube product and continue the heat treatment process. This light coating is dry to the touch. A lubricant that offers a reduction in torque required to drive the screw and it does not interfere with dust collection systems or bleed during the staining process in fine woodworking. There are many other better coatings for screws that prevent rust.
