Installing deck posts can be a time consuming job if you are not careful. This new post bracket system won’t make the digging part go faster, but it does hold the post securely while it’s plumbed, allowing you to perfectly position it, and then brace it without assistance. Simply position the Post-Pod in the approximate position, then raise the post and slip it into the Post-Pod, using the adjustable Side Screws to clamp it in place. The Post-Pod will secure the post without the need for helpers. The Post-Pod includes the adjustable post bracket that accommodates posts up to 8-1/4” wide, swivel feet for three user supplied diagonal braces. Typically, a 12 foot 2x4 will provide three 4 foot diagonal braces. Bracing length is dependent upon soil conditions and topography: the user must determine the appropriate length. Patent pending.
