FastCap Metric/standard tape measures have a rugged compact casing with a built in pencil sharpener and a lever action belt clip. Heavy-duty blade is 33% heavier than other tapes on the market, and has high contrast marking visibility and a dual locking system. Blade width is 1" for 16' and 25' tapes, 5/8" for 12' tapes. The side of the case has an erasable note pad (for pencils only!). English & Metric measurements. Made in China.

Comments about FastCap Metric/Standard Tape Measures:
Can take accurate measurements without having to figure out how many "little marks" or what size the "little marks" are. Also dividing measurements is easier than trying to calculate fractions of an inch. Still it is nice to have both scales for the times when a quick measurement is needed.

Ever try to find a metric tape in the stores? anywhere, or if you ask get a look of disbelief?This has both scales, better marked and has a thicker tape cross-section. Using metric is way easier, what is one half of 7-3/16? vs what is one half of 210 cm? Now that I know of a source and the quality of the tape I likely will get more to replace the english only scale ones I have now

Fills out my line of Metrics, have a 10 footer and 26 footer, so needed for the inbetween job. Metric is the way I prefer to go, so...so much easier to use. Wish this country had gone successfully to metric. Having the bottom tape stop fixed rather than momentary would be only thing I would change. Haven't tried the pencil sharpener yet.
