Nothing detracts from a set of cabinets faster than handles that seem to be randomly placed on the doors and drawer fronts. This jig makes it easy to accurately install handles and knobs. Drill bushings adjust independently to fit handle sizes up to 24" between centers. An offset fence allows for spacing from the edge of up to 6", and an edge stop provides for an edge spacing of up to 12". A special 45 degree notch allows for installation on the diagonal as well. 3/16’’ Hardened steel drill bushings. The minimum distance between drill holes is 1-1/4" and the maximum is 14-9/16". Made of virtually indestructible polycarbonate plastic (like jet aircraft canopies!). Made in USA.

Great tool for those long handles
from Chicago, Illinois
Overall I liked this tool. I had 60 long style handles to install and I did not want to risk messing up the cabinet doors with a missed measurement. What I found with this tool is that you had to be very careful as it tends to want to move while you're marking the holes. This is partially due to the nature of the long handles but also because you have a single point of contact at one end and a shorter portion trying to hold square. I double checked every mark with my 12" adjustable square before I drilled so I was able to catch it each time it moved. I would have had a hard time making a template for this many handles so the tool was a big time saver. I did not use this tool on the drawer fronts rather used the Woodhaven product. I would recommend that this tool be modified to accept a punch type marker.
