Tear Off Old Decking the Fast and Easy Way!Until now, deck removal was best left to the heavy equipment like bulldozers and back-hoes. Corroded ring shank nails may pop up by themselves, but actually pulling them from the joist is a real job, and most crowbars, catspaws, and even sledge hammers are of limited use. The Duckbill Deck Wrecker was specifically designed for deck removal, and it works! This tool provides the leverage needed to easily pry up old, stubborn deck boards. It consists of two heavy gauge steel claws that straddle a single or double joist. Place these under the offending deck board and let the 17:1 leverage ratio do the work. The tool shaft is pinned to the head so that the head may be rotated 180 degrees for better access when working close to a wall or a deck rail.
When removing a deck installed with screws, first remove the screws with an impact driver or driver drill. Deck Wrecker will remove the deck boards, but pulling the screws from the joist generally results in severe damage (primarily splitting) making the joists unusable. 15-year workmanship warranty. Heavy-duty fiberglass handle. Made in USA.

massive, works great to tear up old deck boards without harming subframe. had been using usual pry bar in past, did work in 1/3 time with this (and much less effort).
