No-Co-Rode is one of the most corrosion-resistant platings we offer. It has a salt spray rating of over 1000 hours, making it up to 10 times more corrosion-resistant than the next best plating, Yellow Zinc. It tends to work well with most outdoor woods, but use caution with Redwood, Western Red Cedar or similarly acidic woods - these tend to stain, sometimes even with stainless! And unlike the plating on hot-dipped galvanized screws, No-Co-Rode doesn't chip, and you won't find the recesses full of plating material that makes the fastener useless.
