Vega® Two-Piece NoCoRode™ Undersized Square-Drive Driver Bit

NoCoRode™ screws (those coated for added corrosion resistance) have significantly more plating on them than most other "corrosion resistant" screws.

PROBLEM:

While this provides more corrosion protection, it does reduce the screw's recess size. A standard #2 sized driver bit will not fully seat itself into a NoCoRode protected screw which can cause the bits to cam out or strip the recess.

SOLUTION:

These bits are designed with slightly smaller tips which fully seat themselves in NoCoRode coated screws.

FEATURES:

  • "No-Co-Rode" Drivers have slightly undersized tips and fit the plated recess of a NO-Co-Rode™ screw perfectly.
  • Two Piece construction provides a hardened tip with a softer casing of metal. The softer casing allows for flexibility of the bit, while the hardened core and tip provide long lasting performance.
