Easy to use requiring no special joinery skills (other than the ability to swing a hammer)

FEATURES:

Heavy duty 18 gauge, 316 Stainless Steel
Connector protects the joint from water accumulation
Designed for mid-span connections where the beam extends beyond the post in both directions.
For 6 in. nominal posts (5-1/2 in. actual)

INSTALLATION:

For structural integrity, must be installed in pairs which sandwich the joint.
Requires (28) 16d x 3-1/2 stainless steel joist hanger nails

CAUTION:

Only use stainless steel nails with stainless steel connectors. Mixing galvanized nails with stainless steel connectors could result in catastrophic failure.
