General Finishes STAIN BLOCKER

Do you need to guard pigmented finishes against bleed through from stain, dye or wood tannins?

General Finishes has produced an effective stain blocker that works - not just some of the time, but all of the time. It's not in-expensive, but then neither is your time to keep re-doing what didn't work the last time.

• Use on exisiting finish, raw wood or MDF as a base coat for Milk Paints, Chalk Paint and pigmented polys
• DO NOT MIX with any paint, stain or topcoat as this will cause product failure
• Rinse all brushes (synthetic blend brus or short nap roller) with clean water
• Prep surface by cleaning and sanding with 220 grit paper
• Can be sprayed-on without thinning 
• Sand between coats (approx 1-2 hour dry time)
• Apply second coat on raw wood in 2-3 hours, existing finish surfaces in 3-5 hours
• Drying times can vary depending on the temperature and humidity
