Screw Head Types
Flat Head
The most common screw head type used for general fastening
when the screw head will be flush with the surface, or when it will be
countersunk and the hole will be plugged.Flat
heads self-center in the mounting holes of most hinge hardware, preventing
any positioning latitude. The flat head screw is also
available in the widest range of sizes. |

Round Washer Head
An oversize washer is formed as part of the head itself,
providing a larger bearing area which is especially useful when fastening
soft materials. these scerws are commonly used when hanging kitchen and
bathroom cabinets. |
 |
Pan Head
Pan Heads provide a flat bearing surface under the head
which is useful for attaching adjustable cabinet hardware such as drawer
slides and hinges. |
 |
Super Round Washer Head
Known as drawer front screws because of their common
use in attaching drawer fronts to box style drawers. The oversized round
washer style head make this screw perfect for accommodating minor wood
movement, or installation adjustment. |

Trim Head
The trim head screw resembles a finishing nail in both appearance and
function. The head for a #4 screw is used on either a #6 or #7 screw,
permitting the screw to countersink itself just like a finishing nail.
The small head size requires extra care with the driver bit. We stock
only square drive. |
