Festool ® Plunge-cut Saw Information
Straighter, Safer, Better
Portable circular saws often react unexpectedly. They wander offline and are subject to play in the guide. It’s a quick way to ruin expensive material.
But not the TS 75 EQ and including guide rail: The saw blade makes its cut absolutely straight and splinter-free. Perpendicular or even beveled, the choice is yours. As a plunge-cut saw, it can start and end a cut accurately anywhere on the material.
Equally important, on the TS 55 and TS 75 the saw blade and riving knife retracts into the housing, unlike on conventional pendulum-cover saws, where the cover retracts instead of the blade. This automatically means greater intrinsic safety.
Saw like a professional. Try it once and you’ll never look back.

Controlled Precision
Wood, plastic, metal — each material requires a different
cutting speed. This poses no problem for the MMC electronics, which
set the optimum speed for the material and automatically keeps it constant.
This really counts when it comes to costly materials such as Plexiglas and
powder-coated aluminum, as there is no danger of melting at the cutting
edge. The high-tech heart of the saw has a total of six control and
monitoring functions.
The smooth start-up prevents stress on the drive and
on your wrist. Automatic speed reduction reduces the noise level when
the saw is idling, and two sophisticated safety systems protect the motor
and cut down on repairs.
