Stainless Steel Hex Head Cap
Bolts have a big advantage over screws in many applications: joints don’t depend upon threads cut into the wood for their strength. Exterior projects like decks and docks typically use lots of bolts, but require fasteners with significant corrosion resistance - often tough to find. (In almost any exterior environment, standard zinc plated bolts quickly corrode.) Made of corrosion resistant 18-8 stainless steel, these hex head cap screws are just the thing for demanding exterior projects. These fasteners conform to ASTM F593C for stainless steel bolts, hex cap screws, and studs. Use "Never-Seize" on larger sizes to prevent galling.
