HeadCote combined an auger point with a unique 4-point saw-tooth thread to noticeably reduce the power required to drive the screw. In fact, I tested this screw by driving it into Ipe 5/4 decking without a pilot hole, and it powered right in. They also work well in man-made composite deck materials like Trex®. RazorBack screws are conveniently packaged in Deck Packs of 350 screws for 100 square feet of deck or Deck Packs of 265 screws for 75 square feet of deck. Both coverages assume 6" wide (nominal) deck boards fastened on 16" centers. Made in Taiwan. Mix or match pricing.
