Our #2 Red wire detent bits utilize a unique two piece design; a hardened tip swaged into a mild steel body, giving each bit maximum strength and durability. These bits are electroplated with a durable colored plating for easy identification. Wire Detent 1" long bits are designed for use in mag bit holders. Normally used with #8 & #10 screws.

    Comments about Red, #2 x 1'' Square Driver Bit Wire Detent:

    I drive a lot of 3 - 4" #10 screws around the farm and timberlands and you really have to work at rounding the square drive tips. A lot of treated 2 X 6" boards screwed into 6 X 6 & 4 X 4 posts building shelters, wood storage bunkers and loafing shed/corral repairs. Keep the pressure straight and they work great..

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
