Lots of clamps allow you to make miter or butt corner joints accurately; this one lets you join boards of different thicknesses and provides access to the back side of the joint if you are installing screws. Unlike other angle clamps, tightening one adjustment screw secures both workpieces, so you can secure the joint quickly when doing tricky glue-ups.
