Lots of clamps allow you to make miter or butt corner joints accurately; this one lets you join boards of different thicknesses and provides access to the back side of the joint if you are installing screws. Unlike other angle clamps, tightening one adjustment screw secures both workpieces, so you can secure the joint quickly when doing tricky glue-ups.

Comments about Bessey Angle Clamps:
i have used these on several projects and like the way the hold the corner. You will still need to pull the corner together with other clamps but this helps keep the angle set to 90 degrees. It does take two hands to set them particularly if you are working on an something up on edge. They offer a good degree of adjustment on tension so you can hold the angle, add clamps to apply pressure to the joint then tighten together to keep things square. I like the ability to have a through piece so you can clamp up shelves in the middle of a cabinet. The last project i used these clapms on was building a set of base cabinets for my garage. The material was 3/4 plywwood with rabbit and dado joints all of the cabinet cases came out of the clamps square and true.
