Wiha® Square Drive Terminator Insert Bits
Up to 30x the performance over other bits
Designed for impact applications, these WIHA bits have dual materials to absorb the shock and torque of today’s driver/
drills. The standard 1/4" drive fits directly into the tool without an adapter. All bits are 1-9/64" in length and tips are precision machined from CVM tool steel for an exact fit. All styles come packed two per package. Please select size from drop down above. Imported.

I am halfway through a 1200 stainless steel screw installation of decking material completely made of plastic. This bit has not changed in its function so far. The bit started with a relatively loose fit into the drive hole (#1 square drive) of the screws, and continue to be slightly loose. The bit does not "catch" in the hole when one attempts to remove the driver from the driven screw, as can happen occasionly. The bit shows no evidence of "rounding" of the corners--it's quite tough. I'm using a Makita 18v Impact Driver and #7 x 1-5/8" SS screws. I should not complain, but it would be nicer if the fit into the screws was more tight. One must hold the screw in the bit to start it straight--kinda tough on the back! This fit and this starting problem does not occur with T-type spline bits--they're much easier to start because they fit tightly and stay straight.
