Transfer Lay Outs Around Corners
It shouldn’t be difficult, but for me, transferring a line around a piece of stock, (as in laying out the shoulders of a tenon), invariably results in a bit of error. This nifty saddle square makes a seemingly simple task truly easy. Just lay the square on the corner and mark the adjacent edges at one time. Repeat for each corner and smile broadly as you see the lines join. The aluminum saddle square’s legs measure 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 2" wide, allowing it to wrap a workpiece almost 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" in cross section. 05N56.01 Made in Canada.
