Now you can pull two parts together (two table leaves, for instance), align the surfaces, and lock them in position, all with this new draw catch. A `U’ shaped plate aligns with the catch assembly, then the catch securely locks with the mounting plate to prevent separation. Stamped from 14 gauge steel, these heavy duty yellow zinc plated catches have countersunk mounting holes for #6 flat head screws, but may also be used with #8’s (order separately, see screw section).

Have a few extra as the pin that allows the arm to pivot is weak. I snapped 2 pins in the six that I installed.I do like the freedom of movement of the table leaf that I was using the fastener for and would buy this product again.
