Imagine the havoc a shaper cutter, router bit, or even saw blade could create if it were to accidently strike a steel hold-down clamp. These composite clamps are just the thing to help you build safer jigs and fixtures. The clamps operate on an “over-center” principle to lock the clamp closed when fully actuated and are made of a tough, glass-reinforced nylon composite that is chemical resistant, non-conductive, non-corrosive, and won’t damage a cutting tool. These Straight Line clamps have about 2-1/4" of spindle travel and about 1/2" of usable clamp pad travel. Made in USA.
