Thin Flexible Blade allows for flush cutting with minimal effort
The Woodboy Silky saw offers ultimate quality in a chrome-plated blade with "no-set" teeth and a taper ground blade. This means you get a thin (0.025") kerf with little or no binding. A smooth cutting edge, results from the 27 TPI tooth pattern. The blade has a quick thumb release button to close the blade into the handle for safe, secure storage.
The aluminum alloy handle is rubber coated for comfortable, non-slip grip. The blade locks in two positions for flush cutting, tight spots and kerfing dados. The overall length of blade and handle in the open position is 22"/560mm. Closed it is 12"/305mm. The 9-1/2" blade is made of a special alloy steel and has a kerf of 0.7mm.
The SY3-8424 is Dozuki style and has a back edge on the blade.

Comments about Woodboy Silky Saw:
This thing leaves a very smooth cut - you have to see it to believe it. The reflective blade makes it easy to eyeball accurate 45 and 90 degree cuts. Perfect saw for cutting small trim like base shoe.
