How is it that inanimate objects like screws and bolts seem to know, instinctively, the best time to break or strip a recess? I believe that for any object held together by more than one fastener, at least one will be nearly impossible to remove. Well, this industrial strength broken bolt and screw extractor will give you the very best chance to beat the odds!
This 10 piece set includes three X-Out® extractors for screws with damaged recesses (#6-14), four double-ended Micro Grabits for broken bolts (#5-1/4”), and three Drill-Outs for bolts (5/16” to 1/2”). All tools require the use of a reversible 3/8” capacity drill. X-Out extractors simply bite into the damaged recess of Phillips®, slotted, Square Drive, or other similar style screws. MicroGrabits and Drill-Outs have a drill point that creates a new recess which the reverse threaded tip then engages to remove the fastener.
Broken screws or bolts are no fun: with these extractors there is a good chance you can remove them. Made in USA.
