Size does matter
The yellow and black tape measure, also 30 ft. in length has a standout of 9 ft. The closed type case is also made from ABS plastic with rubber over-molded for a slip resistant grip. The 1" blade width is numbered in feet and inches graduated in 1/16" of an inch and is marked for 16" and 19.2" studs as well. The blade is also yellow painted steel, with an automatic rewind, a top forward lock and a belt clip.
