I needed to stop the squeeking subflooring prior to installing new lalminate. These screws are the answer solving this problem.

Once you home-in on the joists, lay out a tape or other marker. Start the screws slowly. Do not break off the screw heads until you are done with an area. This way, if your marker moves, you can use the exposed screw heads as a guide. Careful not to sit a body part (like a knee) on the screw heads. Great Product!
Second use was as good as the first.

Our floors were tight and without squeeks until an earthquake hit us last August. The noisy floors drove us nuts until we brought in a sample of your special screws. These worked fine so we are extending our coverage to the all squeeky areas to return our house to the plesant quitness we have always enjoyed.

the nosqueek screw itself is okay. as i remarked to my previous order for the kit, i find that the joist-finder exploratory screw requires improvement...e.g. the end that fits into the drill is too small causing the screw to wobble and become detached from the drill..very frustrating. pls fix.
