"Squeek No More" uses an innovative screw that locks the squeaky flooring to the joist, then breaks off below the surface. Simply place the appropriate alignment fixture over the carpet and drive one of the special screws through the fixture and into the floor.When it bottoms out, use the guide to snap it off below the surface, locking the floor to the floor joist.
