Deck Designer’s powerful design templates are easily adapted to suit your house and yard considerations, and allow you to quickly try alternate designs so you can determine the impact on material requirements. With the help of templates, start with simple layouts, then add extra levels, change the shape, edit components, select alternate railing types or change the decking direction. Deck Designer automatically adjusts other components affected by the change. Layout views allow you to visualize how your design interacts with existing structures. You can even show windows and doors in the existing structures for a more realistic representation. Joist spacing, deck gap and direction, beam and joist overhang and the location of stairs are all handled easily. Deck Designer outputs dimensioned plan views, pier layouts, 3D views, project specifications and materials lists, so you can focus on the actual construction.
