Now there is an easy to install shelf and lid support that adjusts to suit a wide variety of installation requirements. This easy to install support can be mounted in either a right or left hand configuration, so that just one lid support is suitable for virtually any conceivable woodworking project, and it handles lids or shelves up to 20 pounds in either a “lift-up” (toy box) or “drop-down” (writing desk) mode. Braking tension adjusts with a 4mm hex key. The stop can be set to either 75 or 90 degrees of travel. Mounting holes are compatible with the 32mm system. Installs with user supplied #6 screws. Made in Taiwan.
