Years ago my cousin awoke one night to discover that the sagging ceiling plaster over her bed had finally let go! If my uncle had known about these nifty plaster washers, my cousin probably wouldn’t have had such a story to tell. If you are living in an older home with plaster walls and ceilings, you’ve probably experienced sagging plaster too, especially when the plaster is attached to wooden lath. Use these handy plaster washers with any #8 flat head screw to spread the load, and pull the plaster back against the lath. These plaster washers have a special corrosion resistant coating to prevent bleeding, and 4 holes which promotes the base coat bond with the washer. Plaster washers are 1-1/4" in diameter and measure about .024" thick (less than 1/32") Made in USA.
Note: Screws not included with washers.

Comments about 1-1/4'' Plaster Washers - Plain:
I am absolutely amazed at the results i got from these plaster washers, I wish i would have found them years ago. I don't know the long term effects of using them but so far so good! The only complaint i have is if you are using these on flat surface, they will be hard to camouflage with the compound. That wasn't really a big for me because it was put on to a stucco ceiling. ***So easy a woman did it!!! =)THANK YOU MCFEELY'S!!!!!!!!!!

Save old plaster and lathe walls
By Rose
from Denver, CO
I attached the plaster washer and screw through the plaster along both sides of a crack and in several sections where the plaster was not broken but was clearly not attached to the wall. Then I took dry plaster mixed with water and applied skim coats over it until the washers were covered and the new plaster was feathered into the old wall. The wall is now more stable and no more cracks or bulges. A great way to save old plaster walls. It does increase the that area so you see a slightly bowed wall, but if feather out well it is barely noticable.
