As devoted as McFeely’s is to the Square Drive Screw, there are times when nails make more sense. For instance, putting up redwood or western red cedar siding can be done with screws, but it will go much faster with nails. These are top grade, made in the USA, stainless steel nails. Unlike screws, nails are sold by the pound. Approximately 94/lb

Comments about 8d (2-1/2'') 316 Stainless Steel Nails - Ring Shank:
My contractor used a smooth nail to attach the balusters to my deck and handrail. When I leaned against a baluster the nails just pulled out. I use these ring shank nails next to the contractors nails and the balusters no longer budge.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
