The hardest part about building a router table is routing the rabbet for the mounting plate. This new template system even makes that part easy. Double faced adhesive strips mount the 1/4" thick hardboard template to your router table top. Then, using the supplied Porter-Cable-style screw mount guide bushing, route through the top completely with a 1/2" diameter straight bit to form the access hole. Remove a collar from the guide bushing, adjust the depth of cut, and make another pass around to form the rabbet. It’s that simple and fast. Includes the hardboard template and guide bushing. Order the Rousseau router mounting plate (RM-3509) separately. Made in USA.
