As the world’s largest producer of Jig Saw Blades, you can imagine Bosch knows a thing or two about quality and performance. Every blade is designed to match a particular application so you get the longest life and fastest cut possible for the material. Always pick a blade with the correct number of teeth per inch (TPI) to keep 3 teeth in the material at all times. So 6 TPI is for thick material whereas 36 TPI is for very thin material. Remember also that the thickness of the blade will determine how stiff the blade is and the blade height will determine how tight a radius it will cut. All Bosch Jig Saw Blades have the Bosch “T” shank and will fit any competitors’ jig saw that uses the “T” shank system. Made in Switzerland.

Comments about Bosch 3-5/8'' 36 TPI HSS Jig Saw Blade:
Had a big project that involved cutting miles of cardboard, way too much to do by hand. Looked at rotary fabric cutters. Bought one at Lowes. It sucked and I returned it. Then saw these blades. On a lark, I bought a 3-pack, installed them in my Bosch jigsaw and tried it out. Amazing!Cuts two and three layers of cardboard like the proverbial hot-knife through butter. I made three stage-sets for a high school play in one week. The HSS blades held up very well, especially since cardboard is one of the most abrasive dulling materials to cut. Yes, I have used these for cutting thin metal sheets too. They are good for that. But for this unusual purpose, the only other option is a $400 dollar industrial rotary cutter. If you need to cut a lot of cardboard and have a good jigsaw, get some of these. You will be glad!
