The Bosch Multi-X tool is the “take with you anywhere” tool. Not only can you get into tight spaces but you can do it all without a cord attached. The Lithium Ion battery is lightweight resulting in less fatigue. A “fuel gauge” on the side of the Multi-X lets you know how much battery life is left before you need to recharge, making sure you have enough power to get through the job. By the way, it comes with a 30 minute FAST charger, so you can keep working by rotating between the two supplied batteries.
Handle any job from cutting wood, metal, plastic and laminates, to sanding wood or metal. Specific Multi-X attachments also remove grout, scrape up glue, and remove paint and caulk. The variable speed allows you to tailor the speed of the Multi-X to the requirements of the material you are working with.
The slim profile of the body grip means you can get a good grip even if you don’t have big beefy hands. And they haven’t forgotten creature comforts like a soft grip material that extends to the nose of the tool to prevent marring of work surfaces. The low vibration design of the tool is a further safeguard against sore hands.
The Multi-X accessories can be adjusted on the tool holder in 30º increments within a 240º arc for getting into the tightest work spaces. A simple screw attaches the accessories securely to the Multi-X holder. The accessories are made with an “offset” so that you can flush cut and flush sand without the screw marring your work surface. With the use of the supplied adapter you can use Fein, Dremel and Proxxon accessories with the Bosch Multi-X tool. Tool made in Malaysia.
