The unique 'bulb' shape of these Howard Leight ® Quiet® soft-foam earplugs helps them conform to your ear canal for exceptional sound attenuation and superior comfort. If you look closely, you will see a small, central post on the back of the Quiet® earplug. That post is slightly stiffer than the earplug body. Applying slight pressure on the post when placing the plug in the ear helps fully seat it in the ear canal. I found that pressing the post helped me achieve a much better seal and greatly improved sound attenuation, compared to inserting the plugs without pressing on the post. Unlike most plugs, these can be washed and reused without degradation of either performance or fit. Available in corded and uncorded style - both styles provide a 26 NRR. Made in USA.
