Pre-adjustment and fine adjustment of the cutting depth can be accomplished with precision of 0.008" (0.2 mm) and locked in with a button. This feature also enables plunge milling to be carried out with the motor running. Router bits are locked into the three-slit router collet easily using the lock button. The base and table are made of die-cast aluminum with the face gliding along on top of a smooth synthetic material to prevent drag and scratching of the workpiece. The MICRO Router MOF is fitted with a vacuum cleaner adapter for use in a dust-free environment. The support column is set back to optimize viewing of cut. A sturdy parallel and circular guide (with centering pin) are also made from die-cast aluminum for precision cuts. An optional footswitch is available to turn the router on and off and to free up your hands for holding the router. The connecting cord on the footswitch is 3’ 21” (250 cm) while the output cord is 19.5” (50 cm). The router uses the same bits that can be used with the Micro Shaper MT (PX-7050). Made in China.
