This table-top band saw has a sturdy die-cast aluminum housing wrapped around a quiet durable motor. The 7-7/8" x 8-11/16" table has slots to attach a miter gauge or coolant tray. The table can be tilted up to 45º for miter cuts. With a 42" blade and electronically controlled variable speeds, you can cut wood, plastic, and non-ferrous metals; even glass and ceramics can be cut with the diamond blade, and the optional coolant container and coolant tray. The one quart coolant container has a flow release, 39" of tubing, 2 spouts, mounting brackets, and screws. The coolant collection tray is 16-17/32" x 12-13/64" x 19/32" and includes gaskets to seal the attachment holes, a 19-11/16" discharge tube and nipple for the band saw table.
A blade guide (standard equipment) can be used to give even more precision cuts, especially when using the diamond blade and coolant for ceramics and glass cutting. The PX-8176 blade comes as standard equipment as well as an adapter to connect the band saw to a dust extractor for a tidy workshop. Imported.
