Comments about Proxxon Micro Woodturning Lathe:

The lathe was easy to setup and runs smoothly with very little vibration. The variable speed is very convenient compared to moving belts on other lathes.

The included collet was not effective at holding my pen mandrel securely. It probably would work fine for holding a wood dowell that was being turned, but the steel mandrel is too slipery. I have ordered the 3 jaw chuck and expect it will solve this problem.

I love being able to put the lathe on a shelf in my closet when I'm finished with it. I also like the idea of taking it outside when the weather gets nice.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and with McFeelys service.
