Like most, my pickup truck has lashing rings on the bed rails. Unfortunately, the stuff I need to haul is often to short for those lashing points to be of any help. What I need are eye bolts in the bed, and these removable galvanized steel bolts are the perfect solution.
With a breaking strength of 1400 pounds for 3/8” bolts and 2600 pounds for 1/2” bolts these are plenty strong enough for most tasks. In fact, they are more likely to pull out of the truck bed than break! While they look like ordinary eye bolts, they actually thread into a stud that is permanently attached to the bed. Install the stud between the ridges of the bed for minimum interference when the ring has been removed. Made in China.
