Truck beds are normally either 6 or 8 feet long. Trim lumber, PVC pipe, EMT conduit and other common supplies are often 10 to 20 feet long. That means you either have a lot of material hanging off the tailgate, or you strap it over the cab, with full knowledge that you may be damaging the body.
The Cab Pad is a flexible rubber pad that conforms to the roof of your truck. Suction cups on the underside hold it in position during loading, and side wings to help keep the load positioned. Cargo must be strapped down securely to prevent movement during transport. Cargo should not extend beyond the vehicle more than what is allowed by state and/or local laws. The Cab Pad should be removed when not in use to avoid accidental loss on the roadway. The Pad surface is 4” x 21-1/2” wide with 2-1/2” tall wings. Made in Thailand.
