This soft-starting router features full-time electronic feedback that maintains motor speed through the toughest applications. The variable-speed switch (10,000 - 23,000 rpm) enables bit speed to be optimized for changing applications. The dual-position switch allows user to cut power while maintaining control of the router. A durable latch lever enables quick and simple coarse depth adjustments. The rack and pinion adjustment provides fine depth settings to 1/128". A spindle lock feature allows for single wrench bit changes. Motor transitions can be quickly made between GripVac™ base (included), plunge base (included), and traditional spiral down bases (690 series). Release the motor, adjust bit height, and clamp the motor from above the router table with standard 3/16" hex socket (not included). Molded over handle grips offer greater comfort during extended use. It accepts both 1/4" & 1/2" collets so both shank diameter bits can be used. The PC-892 includes router motor, fixed base, 1/4" & 1/2" collets, collet wrench, carrying case, and operating manual. Made in Mexico.
