I don’t like hanging drywall very much, but I still do it once in a while, and let me tell you, I won’t be hanging it again without this knife! The first thing you notice is the weight: Just enough heft to be rugged - not a flimsy throwaway. The second thing is the unique thumb rest: It is really comfortable, and lets you apply extra leverage to cut quickly. What you probably will not notice, though, is the tape hook slot just behind the blade. Now you don’t need to master the art of holding the tape hook on the back of the blade while simultaneously scoring a sheet to size - the slot will hold the hook securely, so you can concentrate on making a straight cut. The side of the handle features a drywall rasp for truing up edges, and finally, for the ultimate in convenience, with the blade retracted, depress the thumb slide and fold out a 3-1/4" long drywall saw! It’s enough to make me want to go hang some drywall! Made in Taiwan.
