With this precision caliper, you may get away with measuring only once. Starrett'’s 8" electronic caliper has a streamlined profile that is comfortable to hold and operate. The overall length of the caliper is approximately 11". The thumb wheel allows you to fine tune the digital reading to exacting measurements. Readings can be measured in inches or millimeters and internal as well as external measurements can be taken. The approximate minimum internal measurement is 5/8" (16mm), approximate jaw depth is 2" (50mm).

The last measurement is retained when shut-off occurs. One touch button zeros out the previous reading. The caliper is supplied with a long life battery, but it automatically shuts itself off when not used for 5 minutes to conserve battery life. The commonly available SR44 battery is easily accessed for replacement. Caliper comes with a fitted protective case.
