Two-piece connecting screw step drill

Replaceable bit for long life, perfectly stepped holes!

The problem with one-piece bits that they are easily broken if dropped on a hard floor. This Connecting Screw Step Drill is designed so that you can easily replace the brad point pilot drill when it is damaged or worn out. Shank is 1/4" hex, and fits most quick change chucks as a bonus! Note: For best results and longest life, clear the chips often when drilling. Made in USA.

          I bought this bit to replace the first one I bought 12 months ago thinking it was going to break get dull or wear out ... hasn't happened yet-drilled at least 1800 holes with the original bit into mostly mdf and its still drilling and countersinking extremely well GREAT QUALITY TOOL
