You may look at Snappy’s Quick Chuck Adapter for Pocket Hole Bits and assume that it will help you switch from drilling pocket holes to driving screws quickly. That’s true, but if you have spent much time working with pocket hole bits, you’ll know that the biggest benefit is the hex nut on the adapter shank: It will help keep your expensive pocket hole bit from rolling off the workbench and crashing to the floor! What could be better? It speeds up your work, and helps prevent bit breakage! Just think, now you can replace bits when you wear them out instead of when you drop them break off the pilot!

The Snappy Pocket Hole Drill Adapter System works with any user supplied 3/8” shank diameter bit, such as the Kreg Pocket Hole Drill Bit (available separately). The system includes the bit adapter, Snappy Quick Change Chuck, a 6” long #2 Square Drive bit, and a Snappy tightening nut (placed on the adapter shaft to provide for tightening the bit adapter with a wrench). Remember that Kreg recommends a minimum drill speed of 2000 RPM for their Pocket Hole bits. Made in USA.
